Happy Halloween 2013

It is so much fun to have kiddos during holidays.  These two could care less about Halloween, but as it is my favorite holiday, we had to do it right.  About a week before Halloween, I found some old costumes at my parents house.  My mom let me know that these were costumes she had made for my older brother... A Devil and a Vampire costume.  I had had other ideas for costumes for our family, but when we tried these costumes on, THEY FIT PERFECTLY!  I had to use them!  So our plans for Halloween changed.  We decided that Zane would be the devil (very appropriate for his mischievous personality)
and to match him, I would be an angel.  Xander made the cutest little vampire I have ever seen and Eldon matched him to be the Daddy Vampire.

We got to celebrate Halloween several times.  This is at our ward Trunk or Treat.

I think we made a very cute little family.

Of course, Eldon could not miss a chance to take a pic and get a hug from his little admirer, Rylee.

We also joined my parents' ward Trunk or Treat along with my brother and his family.
My niece made the sweetest little sassy witch I've ever seen.  She sure was cute and a little ball of fire that night.  My brother and sis-in-law went as their normal super cool selves so I didnt really get many pics of them.  My parents were fun and dressed western but for some reason, I only took pics of the kiddos...whoops!

We are so lucky that one of Eldon's older brothers is in my parents Ward, so we got to see them as well.  My beautiful neice Sadie, I mean Belle, was looking quite smashing that evening!
And finally, on Halloween itself, my parents held a block party.  We went and had a BBQ/bonfire and enjoyed some good company.

Love this look from the vampire...."Ah the light!"
And by the end, the Devil had had it.  Happy Halloween!

Double Trouble

These two are a barrel of fun and beyond double trouble.  They are always by each others side for better and for worse.  They play, wrestle, laugh and fight together constantly.  I already see the makings of best friends and I couldnt be happier.  They already know how to come to each other's aide when in need and how to push each others buttons just because.  They can go from playing to crying to playing again within the same minute.  I love to see them together.  They bring so much joy in their trouble making.

It is very apparent that they were raised predominantly by Daddy and not Mommy.  They are most definitely little boys whose favorite things are to wrestle, tickle, tease, and play with balls, and cars, and bikes.

They have an infatuation with opening and closing.  This includes drawer, cabinets and doors.  Before we put locks on the drawers and cabinets (which all of them have now), These two enjoyed wreaking havoc and having a blast.  **This is what happens when it gets quiet**

Xander is getting braver in his climbing and see the monkey watching every move in the back ground.

So much fun in a laundry basket!

One of my favorite double trouble moments, was caught on camera.  Bath time is always a sweet time.  The boys play so well together in the bath, and this time, they were having a ball just splashing away.

These wild boys are so much.  I love that they are always playing together.  They want to be with each other, which I absolutely love!  Ah, the joys of brothers.  These moments make it all worth the chaos of having two so very close!

The Boys New Ride

Papa loves to shop at garage sales and he is the garage sale king!  He found this sweet ride at a garage sale and it is practically brand new!  Xander tried it out for a moment as a single rider and then later, we went for a family bike ride to test it out.  It is wonderful to be able to get out and about with the boys.  They absolutely love to be outside and it is nice to get some exercise at the same time.  Thanks Papa!
