I love Christmas time! I have been so excited to decorate my new house (well condo) since we moved in (this past summer :P) It is so much bigger than our last place and I knew things would just fit better and look nicer here. We actually started Thanksgiving day-because we had all morning to do nothing and i had to work the following day and weekend. So here are a few fun pictures of our condo all decorated for Christmas! Merry Christmas!!

a big nevermind
I want to thank you guys for your concern and support of my surgery. I really appreciate it. I have been being so nervous and anxious over it for the past couple of weeks and friends and family really help!!! unfortunately, i just found out today that because my body decided to go off schedule, I have to be patient and struggle a bit more until January to have the surgery. Hopefully by then my body will decide to cooperate and then things will get fixed and be back to normal.....I am generally not that lucky, but im hoping! I am sure there is some big blessing or underlying reason for the postponement of the surgery that we may never know, but in the meantime, I just wanted to say thank your for your sweet well wishes and thoughts for me. For those that want to, I will let you know when it gets rescheduled.

Seals Family Thanksgiving
This year was my family's turn for Thanksgiving. It is quite different from the Larson Family Thanksgiving and definitely alot smaller! My little brother is out on his mission and my older brother and his wife were visiting friends in North Carolina or something like that, so it was just Eldon and I, my mom and dad, my grandma and her husband and my cousins. We dont have any of the next generation yet in my family, so its all adults. Everyone decided that they didnt want to worry about the mess of the Thanksgiving so for the 2nd year in a row, we went out to a restaurant. We had this whole little room to ourselves with a cute fireplace and Christmas tree. It was really nice. The food was alright (home cooked is better....and it didnt even come close to Tricia Larson's cooking, but what really does?!) It was nice to spend time with my family and we get to see Eldons family this weekend. Overall it was a pretty take it easy day....but its way too hot to feel like Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving
We just wanted to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving! We hope it is a fabulous one! This time of year it is easy to get caught up with the blur of life. But I love how remembering the things we are really grateful for keeps everything in perspective. We are truly blessed beyond measure! Life can be hard and is definitely far from perfect for us, but when it comes right down to it, we have alot to be thankful for all year round. I am especially thankful for my wonderful husband! He is so great and I am the luckiest girl ever to be sealed to him for eternity. I love you! I am also so thankful for the wonderful family that came with him and for my wonderful family as well. Between the two of us (mostly Eldon) we have a very large family and it makes everything so much better to have all that love and support. I am also very thankful for our wonderful friends. It is a shame how quickly times passes and that we dont get to spend more time with our friends and family but you all are very important to us, and we are so glad to have you as part of our lives. And last but definitely not least to finish out my very quick list, I am very thankful for the gift of the gospel in my life and all that it includes. none of the things that are good in my life would be there if it were not for the gospel. It is a part of everything in my life and I am so glad to have that gift and blessing. Well there is my fast and abbreviated gratitude list. Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Happy 1st Birthday Kaden!
My Best Friend Erin's little boy turned 1 year old yesterday. He had several different parties over the weekend with different sides of the family, and then had a small gathering on his real birthday. He is so stinkin' cute. Its hard to believe he is already 1. Babies just grow up way too fast! We had so many friends pregnant at the same time, and now their kids are not even babies any more! I'm sure it goes even faster when it is your own! Anyways, Happy Birthday Kaden!

Yeah for Craft Day
My good friend Brittney and I got together on Saturday and then again on Sunday to be crafty girls! I love crafting and thanks to my friend Becca, I have discovered a new way to both be crafty and decorate my home. Brittney and I had so much just hanging out and making these fun signs and blocks. I still have a few more that I am in the process of working on, but here is what is finished so far. And thanks again Brittney for coming and playing. We will definitely have to do it again!
These blocks are part of the same group. It says one thing on one side and another on the back side...they flip so you only see one saying at a time.
I love these signs and sayings. They are so much fun! It was pretty time consuming, but really easy to do. The first one says " Eternity- Grow old with me, the best is yet to be!" and then the second one says " All because two people fell in love".
Tragic Monday
Monday morning was a sad day for our little Stake. The Lehi Stake Center, our actual ward building burned down early Monday morning. It appears right now that is was not arson, but they are still investigating. Luckily no one was there to get hurt. It is crazy that we were just there Sunday, and now its gone. I do have to say that I love the fact that the steeple is still standing tall even though it crashed with the collapsed roof. The symbol of our church is still there, even though the church isnt. I also love the power of the priesthood and how sad things like this really remind me of the truthfulness of the gospel and the greatness of our church. It took less than 3 days to hear from about 5 different people where we would be meeting and new times. I love that things are so organized and that although it is very sad, it doesnt matter where we worship but how.

Meant to be
Eldon and my entire relationship has been filled with events that are just too nutty to be coincidence. Two Years ago, on the 15th of November, Eldon asked me to meet him face to face at the Mesa Temple to help put up Christmas lights (if you dont understand the significance of this....see our story blog) Thursday, the 15th, we happened to be going to an evening session at the temple. we hadnt given any thought to the day and were attending for other purposes. As we were walking up to the front gates, Eldon mentioned that the Christmas lights should be coming on any time (meaning any day now), literally, i looked at the street and then looked up and the lights turned on! We both chuckled and then remembered what day it was! I just thought it was pretty neat that it was two years to the day, and pretty much at the same time we had first laid eyes on each other in person. Just another testament that we were meant to be together. Heavenly Father definitely had a hand in our meeting and I love little reminders like that. Happy 2 year anniversary of our first date my love! I know it is cheesy, but i wanted you know that I am madly in love with you and so very grateful to have such an amazing husband as you. Thank you for all your do, and especially for loving me and choosing me to share your life with. All my love!
Bragging Rights
Since we dont have any kids of our own to show off or brag about, I thought we would take a minute to post some pictures of our fabulous nieces and nephews. They are so adorable and incredibly talented! We love them all- all 24 1/2 (one on the way) and are so very proud of them and glad to be a part of their lives. Good Luck to all of you with all of your sports competitions, concerts, performances, and projects! You all are amazing!

Go Austin Go!
This past weekend we went out to our nephew, Austin's football game. Im not sure if its still called pop-warner at his age, but it is a community league that he plays on and it was the quarter finals. His team won by the extra point you get from making a field goal after a touch down! It was a good game and his team is so excited to still be in the race! Good Luck Austin this next weekend and hopefully on into the championship game!

what a month!
I think this comic really does a good job of depicting how I felt for the last 6 weeks....minus the emotions. I wont go into too much detail for those that don't want to know, but basically my body hates me! So much so, that I will be having surgery in about 2 weeks to help with the issue. Its not a big deal really, but necessary and no fun! I tell you all this so you will forgive us for not having posted very much during the month of October. I have felt like garbage and been curling up in a ball in bed when I get home from work every night and my wonderful husband has been trying to do everything we could think of to help me not be in so much pain. He has been amazing and I am so grateful that he loves me so much and has been so patient and loving! I definitely would have been in trouble without him! I have been feeling a little better this last week, and hopefully after the surgery, we can get back to life as normal and have more fun blogs for you all.
P.S. if you want to know the details, just ask...
