Mischief Maker

Xander has been crawling for about 2 weeks now and amazingly, his target is directly aimed at the exact items that he should stir clear of.  Crazy how kiddos know exactly what they should not touch!!!  Xanders new favorite things to make a beeline for are the dogs toys, the dog door, any plugs and cords and especially, the diaper box (we have all the diapering needed items in a wicker box under our end table).

He especially likes crawling into areas that are difficult to get into and especially to get out of.  This little picture shows him playing under his exersaucer.  He gets stuck under the seat and cant get himself out and that makes him so mad!!!!!  But not mad enough to stop trying ;)

Not only is Xander getting into mischief, but this little smarty pants puts on the best face and pretends like he is not doing anything wrong.  Of Course this is just projecting since he is still learning and really doesnt know that he is doing something wrong.  But the look on his face, makes him look like he does.  The other day we were watching make a beeline straight for the dog door.  So we said his name and told him "No No".  So he stops, and lays down for a moment, waits, looks around and starts crawling toward the dog door again.  So we repeated "Xander no, no!".  The little smarty pants stops, lays down, waits, looks around and starts crawling toward the dog door again!!!!  We did this a third time and again he did the same thing.  It was like he was thinking, if I just stop for a moment, they wont realize what I am trying to do.  Lol!  We are definitely in for it with him!!!!

His latest adventure, came courtesy of Aunt Misti's house.  Xander discovered her stairs.  We received this cute little picture via our phones stating that he was caught trying to climb the stairs.
Now you tell me.... does this face look like someone doing something mischievous????  Sweet little turkey totally looks like he is up to something no good.  But its the cutest little face on the planet!!!
