My Messy Zane

My Zane is a messy boy.  He is wonderfully independent and MUST do it HIMSELF!  Sometimes he will refuse to eat unless you let him do it himself.  I am all about him learning to do it himself.  The only problem is the aftermath.  As I said, he is MESSY!  But as we say with so many different situations....At least he is cute!

Best Friends

I love when the boys play together so well.  Both of them love Peek a Boo and I caught them playing and laughing together. These are tender moments when I am most glad that they are so very close in age.  I want them to always be close!

We Love Daddy

Eldon has been working nights.  He works several nights per week.  When I come home from work, Eldon only has a few minutes to say good bye and then he leaves.  Both boys, who are very attached, and Zane most especially does not like this time of day.  He knows when Daddy puts on his uniform, that Daddy will be leaving, and the fits begin.  Eldon had just walked out the door and Zane ran to the door, plopped down and tried to reach him under the door.  It was very sad and yet very sweet.   I had to take pics to preserve his desire to be with his Daddy.  We love you Daddy!

 

My Heroes

The boys recently got some fun pajamas...Super Heroes!  So I couldn't resist the chance to take some pictures of my snuggly super heroes in action.  The only problem is that their super powers seem to be (minus their ridiculous cuteness of course) the power of destruction and specifically, the destruction of MY HOUSE! We say it all the time....its a good thing they are so dang cute!  

Jack Pot

The boys love to play with balls, as all little boys should.  They are getting good at catch, and love to throw.  Zane is just beginning to get the concept

Xander has been playing catch for a while.  He found a new fun game with the football.  He likes Daddy to make the football spin.  That is very fun!

I have a buffet in the kitchen that is notorious for stealing the boys toys in the kitchen.  It is just the right height to allow the boys small toys to fit right under and hide.  Xander was looking under the buffet and started whinning.  I came over to help him and was shocked at how many toys had accumulated under it.  After sweeping all the toys out from under the buffet, the boys began to play!  There were so many balls that had been lost under the buffet, that they boys must have thought they hit the jack pot and played in the kitchen for about 40 minutes just ecstatic at their fortunes!

Mama's Shadows

Anywhere I go in the house, I have little shadows that follow me.  Zeus has always followed me around the house to each room.  Lately Zane and Xander have taken to following me when I leave the main living area of the house as well.  They are hoping I will open doors that are normally closed.  One night I was amused by my shadows, so I ran down the hall and video'd my shadows following.
