First Fort

It is a very important milestone in a young boy's life....Building their first blanket fort with Daddy!  Both boys were not feeling very well.  They were both cranky and just could not be satisfied no matter what we tried.  So what was Daddy's response to the situation.  A blanket fort of course!  As you can see by the pictures below... They loved it!  Cured the blues right away!  What a special bonding moment for our family!  Love that Daddy!

Zane's 9 Month Stats

Zane's 9 Month Stats

Height                30 Inches                   96%
Weight                20.9 lbs                    66%

Zane is growing up so fast!  It is crazy to me how big he is and how big he wants to be.  He definitely does not want to be a baby.  He is so desperate to be a big boy like his big brother.  He crawls speedily everywhere.  Especially when a door or drawer is open.  He is beyond curious and beyond determined and stubborn.  He is especially determined to get outside through the dog door.  He loves to play with cars and balls.  He loves big boy food and refuses to eat baby foods.  He only wants what everyone else is eating and anymore, he only wants to do it by himself.  He absolutely loves his big brother and tries to copy everything he does.  He is still a mama's boy but loves to wrestle with his daddy.  He is a very sweet and stubborn little boy.  We love him so much and are so glad he is in our family.

Adoption Day Celebration

One year ago today, Xander legally became a Larson and just a few days later, became an eternal member of our family.  We have decided that this day is one that we will always celebrate our eternal family.  So in honor of our family, we spent time together as a family doing things the boys enjoy.  We spent the morning playing together at home.  In the afternoon, we went and played at a splash park.  Xander loved the water.  Zane, wasnt quite a sure, but liked to splash the puddles.  Zane looks so small compared to Xander in these pics.  I just love these sweet little boys.  Even the littlest thing like a puddle of water is new and exciting and fun!

After the water, we let the kiddos air dry on the swings.  Zane, who had not be as excited by the water, was ecstatic on the swings.  He was having an absolute blast! Xander loves the swings too, and was quite content, but seemed to have enjoyed the water more than swings like his brother.

After the swings, we let Xander loose in the grass.  Its so funny that Xander loves to run free in the grass.  When he was little, he absolutely hated the grass. Now he cant get enough.

Look at our cool dude and his sweet shades.

After the fun at the park, the boys needed a bath.  I decided to have some photo fun and take some pics I have been dying to take for a while.  All my boys in the tub....Rub-A-Dub-Dub!   All three were not quite sure what to do when we put the dog in the bath.  I love these pictures though and plan to hang them in the boys bathroom.
