Mischief Maker

Xander has been crawling for about 2 weeks now and amazingly, his target is directly aimed at the exact items that he should stir clear of.  Crazy how kiddos know exactly what they should not touch!!!  Xanders new favorite things to make a beeline for are the dogs toys, the dog door, any plugs and cords and especially, the diaper box (we have all the diapering needed items in a wicker box under our end table).

He especially likes crawling into areas that are difficult to get into and especially to get out of.  This little picture shows him playing under his exersaucer.  He gets stuck under the seat and cant get himself out and that makes him so mad!!!!!  But not mad enough to stop trying ;)

Not only is Xander getting into mischief, but this little smarty pants puts on the best face and pretends like he is not doing anything wrong.  Of Course this is just projecting since he is still learning and really doesnt know that he is doing something wrong.  But the look on his face, makes him look like he does.  The other day we were watching make a beeline straight for the dog door.  So we said his name and told him "No No".  So he stops, and lays down for a moment, waits, looks around and starts crawling toward the dog door again.  So we repeated "Xander no, no!".  The little smarty pants stops, lays down, waits, looks around and starts crawling toward the dog door again!!!!  We did this a third time and again he did the same thing.  It was like he was thinking, if I just stop for a moment, they wont realize what I am trying to do.  Lol!  We are definitely in for it with him!!!!

His latest adventure, came courtesy of Aunt Misti's house.  Xander discovered her stairs.  We received this cute little picture via our phones stating that he was caught trying to climb the stairs.
Now you tell me.... does this face look like someone doing something mischievous????  Sweet little turkey totally looks like he is up to something no good.  But its the cutest little face on the planet!!!

Finally Mobile

Our little man is getting so big!!!  I cant believe how quickly time is flying by and how quickly Xander is progressing.  He has been so close to crawling for months now, but just couldnt quite put it all together.  Until now.....
His motivation, the dog and his fluffy white tail!!!  He was so excited to try to get it.  It was hilarious!  Here are videos of his first moves toward crawling.

Xander has now become proficient at crawling and can get where ever he chooses....which amazingly seems to be aimed at the few things he shouldnt touch, like the dogs toys, or the dog door.  His favorite thing to chase still seems to be the dogs tail and he will chase him back and forth across the living room for long periods of time and just giggle when he actually gets close.  Super cute!

Peek a boo

Just the cutest thing you have ever seen!!!!  Never mind the background, but Xander loves his daddy very much and loves to play with him.  This was a spontaneous game of peek a boo that was cracking Xander and us for that matter up!!  Enjoy because we definitely did!

Our little pumpkin

So I have not really let myself do too many "pregnancy" things this time around.  This pregnancy just needed to be different.  Im not really superstitious, but just trying to not get too excited, even though we already are.  Even though I have resisted many things, this was one cute photo moment, that I could not pass up!!!  Although our little one is not technically due until around Thanksgiving, with all we have been though in this pregnancy, we are actually expecting to greet this little one closer to Halloween than Thanksgiving.  With that being said...... We decided that before it was too late, this little one needed a proper pre-birth picture (especially since his big brother Xander had such a great one).

My sweet friend Cheri was so kind to help us do such a cute belly painting.  It was a riot to hang with her and let her create on my tummy.   So here is our little soon to be pumpkin.

Happy Pre- Halloween!

Congratulations Seals Family

We are so very happy to have this sweet little girl in our Eternal Family.  She was sealed to her mother and father (my big brother) in the Mesa Temple today and then blessed in their home.  Such a sweet little spunky spirit this girl has.  I am so glad to be her aunt and to have the chance to watch her grow and drive her daddy nuts! hehehe.  It will be such a blessing that she and Xander share the bond of adoption and are the same age.  How sweet is our Father in Heaven.  We officially/legally/eternally welcome you to the Seals family little Livy!
